Sprachatelier – German Language Project

Tailored German support to help children start with confidence and ease.

The Sprachatelier is our school’s German language project, designed to support pupils in developing their German skills in a structured and gradual way. The project takes place during regular school hours and offers up to 15 hours per week of small-group learning.

Children work in a dedicated classroom with a specialized teacher, following a personalised programme tailored to their age, school cycle (Grades 1–2 and 3–4–5), and level of German.

The teaching approach is varied and engaging, including language rituals, songs, games, movement, group and individual activities, using specially prepared materials as well as content connected to the pupils’ regular class curriculum.

The Sprachatelier strengthens German language competence, builds confidence in communication, and supports natural language learning within the school day.
